“Our Australian HeART” by Just Write For Kids Australia and Friends is a special edition hardcover anthology celebrating the marvellous diversity of life, landscape, heritage, and colours of Australia, presented by various local artists and illustrators of children’s books.

Each page of this anthology is a beautifully illustrated and lyrical tribute to a piece of Australia, celebrating dazzling, dream-like landscapes and unique animals and plantlife; reminders of cherished childhood memories and the importance of historical veneration; each chosen subject and theme bound together in a joyful and heartfelt collection that endeavours to inspire young (and old!) readers and artists to express their own response to the question: “What’s in YOUR Australian heArt?”

Here, specifically, you can purchase a copy of the book; signed by N. R. Eccles-Smith, one of the author/ illustrator collaborators of the anthology. Her piece “Australian Brumbies” is a tribute to the beautiful wildness and important heritage of Australia’s wild horses; which she, in turn, hopes will inspire interest in learning more about these beautiful animals, both their positive and negative impact, culturally and environmentally.

Also available as a limited edition item, are signed prints of the Australian Brumbies illustration (also affectionately dubbed “Ghost’s Mob”). Printed in A3 size, the illustration would make a splendid addition as a framed wall piece to any horse-lover’s abode!
